About Inventors Forum
We are an organization of inventors and those who help inventors. We invite you to join us.
Mission Statement
Inventors Forum is dedicated to assisting and educating early-stage inventors and to providing the environment necessary to safely bring new products ideas to the marketplace.
What We Are
We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation operated by volunteers for the benefit of our members and, through our seminars, the general public. We are not an invention submission company nor are we an invention development company.
What We Do
We help our members move along a well-regarded set of invention development steps to place themselves in a position for commercial success. We do not benefit from such success and never take ownership in our member's creations or businesses. Members are drawn from the ranks of professional inventors, engineers and scientists, small business inventors and the general public at large. We provide a monthly seminar series at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa open to the public. We also provide a monthly series of Member's Assistance Meetings open only to our members and designed to provide hands-on help to them as they take their inventions through the early stages of the invention development and legal protection process. When our members are ready to move into serious commercial steps to develop a professional business plan, to make effective commercial contacts and to acquire venture capital, we guide them to the appropriate venture organizations to help them with the next steps.
Through its own activities and those of its associated organizations, Inventors Forum provides professional, qualified expertise to innovators seeking commercial opportunities via new product and process development.
