    Speaker: Jim Sando, Principal, Strategic Results Group. Jim has served as CEO of a $40M corporation, and has developed expertise in retail management, franchise acquisition and operation, supply chain management, and has a strong background in financial analysis, operations management, and process development.  After 25 years in the corporate environment, in 2005 Jim opened the Orange County office of Strategic Results Group, a business advisory practice focused on small and medium sized enterprises.  There he has created a thriving practice serving a variety of local businesses and providing local business leaders with tools and knowledge to enhance their business success.

    Registration starts at 7:00 P.M. and the seminar starts at 7:30 P.M. and lasts about 90 minutes. Refreshments are served in the lobby at 9:00 P.M. where you can network with other inventors.
    Door fees are $10 for non-members and $5 for members. Parking is free.

    Directions:

    From I-405undefinedexit Fairview Rd. and drive south to Merrimac Way. Turn right and drive to Lot E (5th driveway on the right). Walk to the front of the Lewis Center (large brick building). The Science Lecture Hall is just across from the Lewis Center main entrance.

    From I-55 southboundundefinedexit right onto Fair Drive westbound. At third traffic light, make a right onto Fairview Road northbound, at Merrimac Street westbound make a left turn and go to Parking Lot E.

    Inventors Forum holds 10 regular Member's Assistance Meetings (January through October)

    WHERE: Rodgers Senior Center, 1706 Orange Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92648

    WHEN: These "members only" meetings are held on the last Friday of the month and begin at 7:30 P.M. with registration starting one half hour earlier. The meeting usually lasts about 2 1/2 hours.

    FEE: Door fees are $5 for members. Non-members can join at this meeting. Initial membership fees are $50 per year, half price for seniors 65+, full time students and disabled.

    NOTES: Everyone must sign a confidentialty agreemeent. Inventor presentations with feedback from the whole group is first. Refreshments are next and then inventors can meet in smaller groups where they can get specific help with their inventions.
    Members are encouraged to bring any items or materials like books, software, directories, or catalogs etc. that could be helpful to others.

    We are a non-profit group with no paid positions and the success of the group is totally dependent on what YOU bring to the meetings. So please share any helpful information you have. The hard working volunteers who keep IF going appreciate any and all assistance.

    This is one of our most exciting seminars of the year.  You'll get to hear the secrets of 6 successful inventors.  Each speaker will give a short five to ten minute overview of their invention, how they developed it, what type of help they needed, and the secrets they used to break through into the marketplace with a successful product.  The best part?  You get to ask them questions and network with them after the seminar.

    Stephen Key is an award-winning inventor and entrepreneur, having licensed over 20 products in the past 30 years. A holder of over twelve patents, Stephen’s products have sold in Wal-Mart, 7 Eleven, Disney Stores and theme parks worldwide and have been endorsed by basketball great Michael Jordan and Jeopardy host Alex Trebek.

    Stephen has appeared on national television numerous times, including an appearance on the CNBC show “The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch” and as an expert guest on “Dr. Phil”. Stephen has been interviewed by national magazines, newspapers, and authors such as Tim Ferris (“The 4-Hour Work Week”) and Donny Deutsch (“The Big Idea”). Stephen was also a consultant on the first season of the hit ABC reality TV show “American Inventor”, created by Simon Cowell.
