Rapid Prototyping

One of the key areas of interest for inventors is how to make a good looking prototype.  Jay Dinsmore will go over some of the latest prototype making techniques and give you an idea of what new technologies are available to inventors in this regard.

Jay Dinsmore:

Dinsmore and Associates is a leading provider of Rapid Manufacturing services in the local Orange County region. They are a full service product development firm that specializes in plastic part engineering. They utilize rapid manufacturing processes to design, develop, prototype, and fabricate injection molded products all under one roof. They service the medical, consumer, aerospace, defense, industrial, and electronics industry. They have 16 years of experience with rapid prototyping technologies such as stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering SLS) and POLYjet. Using these rapid prototyping techniques can significantly reduce the product development cycle and time to market.

Registration starts at 7:00 P.M. and the seminar starts at 7:30 P.M. and lasts about 90 minutes. Refreshments are served in the lobby at 9:00 P.M. where you can network with other inventors. Door fees are $10 for non-members and $5 for members. Parking is free.

Directions:
From I-405—exit Fairview Rd. and drive south to Merrimac Way. Turn right and drive to Lot E (5th driveway on the right). Walk to the front of the Lewis Center (large brick building). The Science Lecture Hall is just across from the Lewis Center main entrance.

From I-55 southbound—exit right onto Fair Drive westbound. At third traffic light, make a right onto Fairview Road northbound, at Merrimac Street westbound make a left turn and go to Parking Lot E.
