Project Managing Your Crowdfunding Campaign

Kickstarter has proven to be a powerful tool for inventors to launch their new products, simultaneously gaining market validation and funding.  Eric Paul Rose, NPDP, MBA, will be speaking about how to run an effective campaign.  Eric is an inventor, educator, and product innovation consultant who provides entrepreneurs the expertise to move new products from market opportunity into marketplace reality. He is named on more than 65 patents pending or granted worldwide. His talk will share the wisdom of numerous crowdfunding creator clients of his.

The second half of the meeting will feature a panel discussion that includes inventors who have run successful Kickstarter campaigns. Philip LaBonty, the developer of the Cycleboard, and Jacob Jacobsma, the developer of the Peanut Board, will discuss their experiences, do's and don'ts, and answer questions from the group.

Open to non-members @ UCI's Applied Innovation (The Cove) in "the Beach" meeting room.

WHEN: These meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of the month and begin at sharp at 7:30 P.M. with registration starting at 7:00 PM. Come early (7PM to network with other inventors). The meeting usually lasts about 2 hours.

FEE: Our Speaker Series is Currently FREE (Spring Special - Donations are gratefully accepted)


For our Members Assistance Meetings - end of the month at Urban Workshop: Door fees are $5 for members. Non-members can join at the door. Initial membership fees are $50 per year, and half price ($25) for seniors 65+, full time students and disabled. UCI Students are $12.50. We can take credit and debit card payments through Stripe at the meetings. If you're paying cash, please, no large denomination bills.
