The business of invention: Assessing start-up feasibility

Prior to joining LMU, Elissa was a professor at Baruch College (CUNY) and the University of Southern California. Her research concerns the role of social networks in new venturing. She has received awards for both her research and her teaching activities. Elissa has degrees from Harvard University, the London School of Economics, and UCLA. She has worked in brand and marketing management for various companies, including Procter & Gamble and LiveCapital (a start-up later acquired by Dun & Bradstreet).

Registration starts at 7:00 P.M. and the seminar starts at 7:30 P.M. and lasts about 90 minutes. Refreshments are served in the lobby at 9:00 P.M. where you can network with other inventors.
Door fees are $10 for non-members and $5 for members. Parking is free.

Directions: FROM THE SOUTH I-405 exit Fairview Rd. and drive south (~1.5 miles) to Merrimac Way. Turn right and drive to Lot E (5th driveway on the right). Walk to the front of the Lewis Center (large brick building). The Science Lecture Hall is just across from the Lewis Center main entrance.

FROM THE NORTH  I-405 exit Harbor Blvd. and drive south (~1.5 miles) to Merrimac Way. Turn left and drive (~0.3 miles) to Lot E (1st driveway on the left). Walk to the front of the Lewis Center (large brick building). The Science Lecture Hall is just across from the Lewis Center main entrance.

From I-55 southbound exit right onto Fair Drive westbound. At third traffic light, make a right onto Fairview Road northbound, at Merrimac Street westbound make a left turn and go to Parking Lot E.
