Inventors Forum

June 8th Speaker-Workshop

Inventors Forum holds 10 regular Member's Only Assistance Meetings (January through October

Bring the ideas that have been percolating in your brain, and give them a jump start!

SPEAKER: Mark Schnose, PhD.

Please join us for the Open Meeting of the Inventor's Forum.

This Meeting will be an interactive discussion with our Inventor's Forum President, Mark Schnose, PhD.  The topic of the discussion will be Why Inventor's Invent: A Psychologist's View of the Inventor.  Dr. Schnose made a decision to pursue invention a few years ago. Together with a long term friend, Jeff Sallee, brought a product from brain to the world-wide distribution shelf in a period of approximately eight months.   This exciting experience has been followed by positive and negative experiences since that time. During the presentation we will interact with ideas around the neurology and psychology of the process of invention. Come join us this Friday

WHERE:   The Dock HB

5811 W McFadden Ave

Huntington Beach, CA 92649

WHEN: These meetings are held on the last Friday of the month.

Gather at 6:30, meeting starts at 7:00.  We will wind down at 8:30 and be out before 9:00.

Come early to network with other inventors. The meeting usually lasts about 2 hours.

FEE: Door fees are $5 for members. Non-members can join at the door. Initial membership fees are $50 per year, and half price ($25) for seniors 65+, full time students and disabled. UCI Students are $12.50. IF does not take credit cards at the meeting. Please, no large denomination bills.

NOTES: Everyone must sign a confidentiality agreement. Inventor presentations with feedback from the whole group are first. Inventors can then meet in smaller groups or network with other inventors where they can get specific help with their inventions. We'll be implementing a new format in 2016.

We are a non-profit group with no paid positions and the success of the group is totally dependent on what YOU bring to the meetings. So please share any helpful information you have. The hard working volunteers who keep IF going appreciate any and all assistance.
