Taking Your Invention Business Seriously

  • 10/09/2009
  • 7:00 PM
  • Science Lecture Hall 101 at Orange Coast College, 2701 Fairview Rd., Costa Mesa

This seminar will address the proper business planning for inventors, and how to best position your new venture for success.

Speakers: Gary Capolino, The Part-Time CFO, Inc.

Gary Capolino is an accountant and the principal consultant for The Part-Time CFO, Inc., a consulting practice specializing in helping small businesses navigate the conversion from start-up to ongoing (ongrowing) business.

Most successful businesses attain heights never dreamed of by their creators, thus in the early going (start-up phase), critical errors are made which have unintended consequences as the business experiences unexpected rapid growth.

As time allows, Gary will review some of the more important considerations (and mistakes) from his own experiences in starting businesses, along with those of client companies "... and those you hear about but never meet."

Registration starts at 7:00 P.M. and the seminar starts at 7:30 P.M. and lasts about 90 minutes. Refreshments are served in the lobby at 9:00 P.M. where you can network with other inventors.

Door fees are $10 for non-members and $5 for members. Parking is free.
