The big tech show is coming to Anaheim and will have something like 5 to 7 expos all under one giant roof at the Anaheim Convention Center, Feb 12-14 with conferences running from Feb 11-14. There will be thousands of exhibitors and you will be able to walk all day through it and still not see everything.  There will be plastics, medical design and manufacturing, machining, electronics, automated manufacturing processes, some robotics, and all kinds of remarkable stuff.

There is free parking at Angels Stadium and the shuttle bus will ferry people to and from the Convention Center. I put the Convention Center and the free parking at Angels Stadium on a google map.

To can access this map by clicking on http://goo.gl/maps/TpesQ

You have got to register for the expo.

    To register  click on   http://www.canontradeshows.com/expo/plastw13/

Now, while it is true that the registration page says:

Show Management reserves the right to charge a $55 Expo Visitor

admission fee, or refuse registration, to anyone. Qualifying manufacturers

(i.e. companies producing finished products that are ready for an end user)

may be eligible for free admission to the expositions. The complete list of

admission policies can be viewed here.

I would like to point out that if you fill out your entries “wisely” (as I have), you won’t wind up being charged any admission fee. I honestly doubt that any visitors are charged any fees, it is probably more of a tool to keep out the wrong sort of element.

They should email you a confirmation of registration, which you must print out and bring with you to the Expo. They will issue you a badge at the Expo.

You are required to bring a photo ID. Unfortunately, no children are allowed. Any guests you bring must be registered too, including spouses.

If you live some distance away from Anaheim, and if you have any family or friends living nearby, I recommend crashing out at their place instead of commuting a long distance. Walking past thousands of exhibitors and talking to dozens of people about hundreds of new technologies all day long can be mentally and physically exhausting. I suggest going with friends to help stay focused.

There are also some conferences too, starting 1 day before the expo on Feb 11th running through the 14th.

I don't know if they cost anything to attend. I suggest looking through the websites.

    Have fun at the expo.
